Favorite Five - September 2022
1. Plant Solutions
- Plant Walls
We love us some plants! And, when a company provides an entire system that can sustain indoor plantings, we have to share it!
"In an effort to promote wellness in the workplace, businesses are looking for ways to improve work environments. At the same time energy efficiency and a healthy mental and physical environment are top priorities for owners and employees. One of the most popular strategies to restore natural balance is by embracing plants and living walls."

3. RISE Custom Collection - Shaw Contact Hospitality
- Floor + Rug
"This collection is expressed through three phases of discovery, characterized as Perseverance, Ingenuity and Hope: the hallmarks of an industry that is poised for fresh beginnings and a season of rediscovery. The lush color palette is rooted in soothing neutral tones, intertwined with a delicate terracotta rose that adds a deep vein of energy and optimism."
4. Downtown Train - Area Environments - Loop Architectural Materials
- Wall Covering create by abstract painter Domenica Brockman
"Not just wallpaper. Area Environments works with artists to procure beautiful and stunning designs."
"Domenica Brockman is an abstract painter whose work explores geometry, color, and surface. Her preferred medium is encaustic paint (pigmented wax and resin) on wood panels, often working with the shape of the square, using it alone and in grids, and utilizing a restricted palette and varied textures. In her grid paintings, the panels are painted and then broken apart and reassembled to create compositions that feel as if they have come about by chance, but are in fact the product of long deliberation."
5. Mod S/73/3L - bover barcelona lights
- Pendant designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán
"The Mod finds inspiration in the nature, as it can be grouped to create a garden of possibilities through the finishes of their flower clusters. The petals of its flowers are customizable, being able to adapt to almost all types of materials, smooth , perforated , deployed or drawn and laser cut plates depending on the theme that wants to be used. They also accept natural materials, such as wood panels or natural fibers such as raffia. If we let our imagination run wild, we can crochet them with colored threads. Mods were born to let the fantasy of space creators flow."
